As we move into 2025, this whole "search" for alternatives to fly ash and blast furnace slag is leading to innovative materials; clays, pumices, etc. Maybe ways of "reclassifying" buried fly ash and cleaning it up. What we've done is simply look around at the wonderful alternatives mother-nature has provided. No huge, complicated mining. No calcining (the use of kilns). Simple "scraping" of large, consistent, reactive areas of volcanic activity - and we simply harvest it, with light manipulation; a few screens and a crusher. We can produce relevant, natural sources of zeolite; ideally suited for concretes and mortars.
