Backstory is pretty basic. Next to rubber tires, paper products, glass is right up there with overall waste recycling. Sure, we can clean and recycle back into bottles and containers with glass. But with any collection, processing and re-manufacturing of "closed loop recycling"....there is a significant waste stream.
What if we could collect, clean, recycle back your wine and beverage bottles. And then take the "tailings" or off-spec material, clean it, grind it so small as to eliminate the 'age-old' alkali-silicate-reaction from it. And then put it in concrete to replace cement??
We have. And it works great....
